Great Women Artists: "Magdalena Abakanowicz – Artistic Fabric and Silent Presence in the Crowd

During the lecture, we will explore the life and work of the artist – from her aristocratic Tatar roots and traumatic wartime experiences to her spectacular success at international art salons. We will examine the phenomenon of her revolutionary abakans and the monumental, headless figures made of jute and bronze, which to this day provoke questions about the human condition in the modern world. Tickets available at the “Alternatywy” reception and online.
