The author writes with lightness and irony about people who are a bit lost, a bit eccentric, but disarmingly authentic. Everyday life blends here with the grotesque, and ordinary events can suddenly take an unexpected turn. The unique character of the publication is emphasized by the illustrations of Wanda Koss – an artist and the author's life partner. This is the result of their joint work, in which word and image support each other, building a coherent world full of humor and subtle grotesque. The illustrations not only accompany the stories but become their important interpretive complement. The author's greatest dream is that "through humor and chaos, one might glimpse the struggles we all face. Feelings such as helplessness, shame, or fear often force us to cultivate surrealism as a form of micro-self-therapy." Adam Wojtyszko is a theater and film director, author of radio plays and scripts for television series. In the years 2024-2026, he was the director of Teatr Polskiego Radia.
