WGW meeting and guided tour: Anka Wandzel

During the lecture, Anka Wandzel, author of the book "Sztuka przetrwania", a scholarship holder of the City of Warsaw, will talk about nature not as a space of escape, but as a place of interdependence, regeneration, and practicing survival. The starting point will be plants, urban thickets, and ecological artistic practices through which one can look differently at fragility, care, and resilience. The meeting will develop the threads of the exhibition "Szukam nadziei po krzakach", whose title refers to Wandzel's book, and will allow the works of Julia Ciunowicz, Anna Goebel, and Marta Jabłońska to be placed in a broader context of the relationship between art, the environment, care work, and everyday strategies for coping with crisis. The book "Sztuka przetrwania" was created as part of an artistic scholarship of the City of Warsaw.
