Author meet-and-greet with Agnieszka Zakrzewska

October 8, 2026, 18:00 · Wypożyczalnia dla Dorosłych, Młodzieży i Dzieci nr 140 (ostatnie piętro) · ulica Wolfganga Amadeusza Mozarta 1
8 October (Thursday) 18:00-19:00 [Meeting for adults] We invite you to a meeting with Agnieszka Zakrzewska, a writer, a lawyer who never was, a Polish philologist by passion, and at heart – an attentive observer of people and a collector of fleeting moments. Her life motto is: "The longer you wait for the future, the shorter it will be." So she doesn't wait. She acts. And she fulfills her dreams. Agnieszka Zakrzewska is a writer who turns emotions into stories and ordinary places into literary magic. She has lived in the Netherlands for over 20 years, and it was there that she found inspiration for her novels – full of tenderness, humor, and life's truth. She made her debut in 2018 with the book "Do jutra w Amsterdamie". Her trademark is stories about love, longing, and hope, set in the atmospheric realities of Amsterdam and other corners of Europe – the kind you want to return to. Agnieszka Zakrzewska's work encompasses two worlds: moving tales inspired by real people and atmospheric slice-of-life novels. In recent years, she has published, among others, "Czułe poranki, bezsenne noce" and the bestselling lavender dilogy: "Szept lawendowego ogrodu" and "Sekrety pachnące lawendą". The author is also the creator of a jewelry dilogy published by Wydawnictwo Dobre Strony: "Broszka ze szmaragdową chmurką" and "Naszyjnik z diamentową tęczą" – stories about secrets hidden in jewelry and human fates intertwined like intricately cut gemstones, in which every detail matters, and the past can shine as brightly as the most precious jewel.
