Herstory meetings

“Spotkania herstoryczne” is a series of lectures devoted to the history of women, unjustly omitted from school textbooks. Commonly erased from memory, they vigorously developed Polish culture, science and social life, fighting for equal rights for all. As part of the meetings, the achievements of, among others, will be presented: Zofia Moraczewska, Kazimiera Bujwidowa, Anna Tomaszewicz-Dobrska, Maria Dulębianka, Jadwiga Sikorska-Klemensiewiczowa and Jadwiga Czaplicka. The meetings will be led by Julia Ruszkiewicz, a librarian and historian, a graduate of the Faculty of History at the University of Warsaw. The meetings take place at the falenicka library every second Thursday of the month at 11:00. Admission free.
