Meetings with Meluzyny: Anna Jurksztowicz

Anna Jurksztowicz – singer and music producer. In the 1980s and 1990s she recorded many pop and film songs. Her best-known hits include "Diamentowy kolczyk," "Stan pogody," "Hej, man!" and the title song from the popular TV series "Matki, żony i kochanki." With her warm voice, youthful energy, a storm of curls and supermodel looks, she set trends and delighted the fashionistas of the time. She liked to play with both lyrics and fashion, never treating her stage career with deadly seriousness. In the times of the People's Republic of Poland, in the era of rebels and femmes fatales, she opted for a sense of humor, ease and gentleness. She worked on her image together with Lidia Popiel, a famous model of Moda Polska and a budding photographer.
