Fun Run - Adventure with a map - Stage 4

On October 11, we meet for the last time in this year's series. This time we invite you to the area of Primary School No. 318 at ul. Leonida Teligi 3 in Warsaw's Ursynów. Fun Run is a recreational orienteering event – it is open to everyone of all ages, regardless of fitness and skill level. Orienteering, that is, an activity with a map in the fresh air, is not without reason called a green sport. There is probably no other sport that brings together entire families and generations. What is it all about? You want to take part, but you're not entirely sure if it's for you? Here you will learn everything! Each participant receives a map and a special electronic chip before the start. Points are marked on the map, and your task is to find them in the terrain. The choice of route, that is, the path between successive points, is up to the participant – you can choose any route between the points. When you reach the marked place with the help of the map, a control point will be waiting for you. Using the chip at the electronic station, you confirm your presence. Every start is unique – the courses are kept secret before the event. We guarantee that every start will be exceptional – outdoor activity and discovering interesting corners of Ursynów are part of every Fun Run. Don't worry if these will be your first steps – report to our instructor before heading out into the terrain, and you will learn what it's all about, how to orient the map, and what its most important elements are! At each stage, four courses of varying difficulty will be available: Beginners (approx. 1 km for people starting their orienteering adventure) Bold (approx. 2 km, a bit longer and harder) Brave (approx. 3 km for those who are not afraid of challenges) Professionals (approx. 4 km, a complicated course for the elite). Detailed information, regulations, and registration are available on the website More about orienteering can be found on the website.
