Seniors of Włochy on the Dance Floor

Włochy Seniors on the Dance Floor "Włochy Seniors on the Dance Floor" is a local initiative aimed at residents of the Włochy District, whose goal is social integration, activation of seniors, and building neighborly bonds through shared fun and cultural activities. The event will take place on November 6, 2026, at the Okęcka Sala Widowiskowa at ul. 1 Sierpnia 36 A in Warsaw from 16:00 to 20:00. Registration on site on October 28 from 11:30 to 15:30. The ball will be an open neighborhood gathering with live music. The main theme will be costumes inspired by any historical era. The program includes, among other things, a contest for the most interesting costume, a fashion show, a concert by a music band, dancing with a DJ, and integration activities led by a host. An important element of the event will be a neighborhood café with homemade baked goods and beverages, conducive to conversations, exchanging experiences, and making new acquaintances. The organization of the event is based on the involvement of residents, who will prepare decorations, refreshments, and support its operations. The project is a continuation of the local tradition of autumn integration gatherings and responds to the need for active leisure, counteracting loneliness, and strengthening interpersonal bonds, creating a space for residents of different generations to meet in an atmosphere of kindness and community.
