Tangled in Wild Vine - Artur Gotz

Artur Gotz sings songs by Marek Grechuta Known and less obvious works by Marek Grechuta in new, bold arrangements and Artur Gotz's original interpretation. "W dzikie wino zaplątani" is a concert promoting Artur Gotz's seventh album, prepared as a tribute to one of the most outstanding creators of Polish song – Marek Grechuta. The project commemorates the 80th anniversary of the artist's birth and the 20th anniversary of his death, while presenting his timeless work from a completely new perspective. Artur Gotz does not try to imitate the legendary performer. He reaches for his repertoire, giving it his own character and a contemporary sound. Classical instrumentation meets electronics and modern arrangements here, while preserving the poetry, emotionality and depth of the original compositions. During the concert, Marek Grechuta's greatest hits will be heard, including "Nie dokazuj", "Będziesz moją panią", "Ocalić od zapomnienia", "W dzikie wino zaplątani", "Świat w obłokach" and "Korowód", but also lesser-known works that reveal further facets of his creativity to the audience. A special place in the program is occupied by "Karuzela z madonnami" from Ewa Demarczyk's repertoire, with music by Zygmunt Konieczny. This is a symbolic reference to the artistic beginnings of both Marek Grechuta and Artur Gotz, who began his vocal path at the Kraków Piwnica pod Baranami. "W dzikie wino zaplątani" is a meeting of timeless poetry with a modern sound – a proposal both for admirers of Marek Grechuta's work and for those who are only just beginning to discover its extraordinary world. Performing on stage will be: Artur Gotz – vocals, Jacek Pietrzak – keyboards and trumpet, Łukasz Jerzykowski – bass guitar and Wojciech Bylica – drums. Artur Gotz is a vocalist and actor with seven albums and over 900 concerts in Poland and abroad – including in Europe, the USA, Australia, New Zealand and Cuba. He is the winner of the "Wokalista Roku 2016" award, and in 2024 he was awarded the medal "Zasłużony dla Kultury Polskiej". The project was co-financed from the funds of the SKE ZASP Fund – Program Kultura and is carried out with the financial support of the Małopolskie Voivodeship.
