Animals in the Big City" at Ursynów

Participants can look forward to numerous educational and practical attractions. On site, it will be possible to take advantage of free advice from specialists – a veterinarian, a behaviorist, and an expert dealing with animal rights. The program includes, among others, workshops with a cat behaviorist and demonstrations with a dog trainer, devoted to preventing pets from escaping and strengthening their obedience. The veterinarian will talk about everyday care of animals, answer questions about sterilization, castration, and chipping, and also present the principles of first aid for four-legged friends. For the youngest, an outdoor educational game "How to find a lost animal and bring it home" has been prepared, along with workshops on making toys for pets, face painting, and animations; food stands. There will also be stands from the event's partners - the Schronisko dla Bezdomnych Zwierząt "Na Paluchu" and MPWiK, which, as every year, will invite visitors to taste Warsaw tap water. The picnic will be accompanied by the Zlot Celestyniaków, organized by the Schronisko dla Bezdomnych Zwierząt w Celestynowie. This event is part of "Alert dla zwierząt", under which donations for the shelter's wards have been collected for 15 years.
