For decades, Stanisław Soyka held a special place on the Polish music scene – as a singular artist, following his own path, admired for his extraordinary sensitivity, warmth and authenticity. We invite you to the premiere meeting around Beata Biały's book "Życie to krótki sen. Biografia Stanisława Soyki" – a moving story about an outstanding musician, but also about the man off stage: a husband, father, friend and a person of deep faith. The publication is complemented by recollections of his loved ones and collaborators, revealing lesser-known stories from the artist's life. Maria Szabłowska – a music journalist who has accompanied the Polish scene and its most important creators for decades – will talk with Beata Biały about Soyka's musical path, his life, personality and the work on the biography. The evening will be filled with memories and the music of Stanisław Soyka. The premiere will be accompanied by a mini-recital by Janusz "Yanina" Iwański – a longtime friend and collaborator of the artist.
